On being thankful. Day 4

Today I am thankful for fun I have with my kids. I always enjoyed being a mom. It didn't matter whether they were infants, toddlers, little kids, or teens. But now that they're adults, we have more fun than ever.

Today Abbey and I went shopping in Richmond for a dress for her senior art show on Thursday. Nothing like waiting until the last minute, right? We spent hours walking from one end of the Short Pump Town Center to the other and back again. Several times. Finally settled on a dress. Then we spent another hour and another few trips up and back looking for shoes, and found a pair at the DSW two miles away.

Her favorite thing she got? The socks with the penguins on them (not part of Thursday's outfit).

We also enjoyed a lunch of carbs and more carbs at Noodles & Company that was wonderfully satisfying.

Tomorrow Mansquared and I are meeting Leah at a victory rally for the next president of the United States.  I'll have pictures!

Be thankful ~
