Sweet Shot Tuesday

If I weren't so dang slow with a camera, I could claim this sweet shot as my own, but alas, my kids are much better than I am. I already told you about the pileated woodpecker that got away. Then last night, I walked into the laundry room and thought there was a log on top of our trailer out front. (My new glasses are being made at this very moment.) When I realized it was a barred owl, I started hollering for the kids to come with their cameras. The whole family wound up squeezed in there, cameras snapping.

Totally bored with us. We have some pretty awesome wildlife.
