Just a few thoughts.

First, if you are an adult, you need to know that if you don't like the way a teenager IS, it's better to teach her how to BE than to look down your super-spiritual nose at her. If that's all you're going to do, you might as well push her off the cliff into hell because she sure doesn't want to be like you.

Now you know I have a negative side. Thank you for letting me get that off my chest.

Second, we had another game today. Are you sick of hearing about soccer yet? Don't worry, the season only has one more week, and then the playoffs.

Here's Man-boy,  contemplating his strategy before a corner kick:


He's really not that much bigger than the ref. The corners of our field are raised up (the field doubles as a retention pond) so the ref is at field level. Man-boy is up on the slope.

Here's what happens when you kick well from the corner and your teammate's head is in the right place:


See where the ball is? That's where we want it.


And this is our youngest fan. He's happy with the score.


Yes, that photo is very blurry. No, I have not yet perfected the use of my camera.

AMEN!!!!!! to the first paragraph. I hate that SO much. Yay for soccer, and the littlest/biggest fan is adorable. :-)
