Pumpkin Bread
2 2/3 C. all purpose flour
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
Combine all the above in a bowl and set aside.
1 C. (2 sticks) butter, softened
1 3/4 C. sugar
4 eggs
1 - 15 oz can pumpkin (not pie filling)
1 C. chocolate chips
Cream butter and sugar well. Add eggs and beat well. Add dry ingredients alternately with pumpkin. Stir in chocolate chips. Divide into two PAM-sprayed 9x5 bread pans. Bake at 350 degrees for one hour. Let cool in pans about 10 minutes then turn out onto wire racks. Enjoy!
